Stick It With Eksfok

Hola amigos! Kami sedikit berbahasa Spanyol sebab museum akan menyambangi Negeri Sombrero Meksiko untuk berkenalan dengan Eksfok. Ia adalah seorang sticker artist yang cukup produktif. Langsung saja simak.

Please introduce yourself.
Hello my name is EKSFOK and I am from Queretaro, Mexico.

What's the story behind your street art name?
Eksfok is a nickname inherited by a friend, and have transformed that nickname (EKSFOK WAS HERE) in honor of the great artist BNE.

How is the sticker scene in your city or country?
The scene of the stickers in my city is somewhat low, people who are dedicated to creating stickers are counted. The place where more people are dedicated to creating stickers in Mexico is in the center of the country, the Federal District (CDMX). There exists a large number of artists!

How you make your artworks, using what kind of technique?
To design my stickers I use Corel Draw program. And to manufacture them: Most of my stickers are made with screen printing technique and a little more with markers and paint.

How did you play with your stickers on the streets, did you quite often make a collaboration?
I like to walk quite so always carry some stickers in the bag so they can be placed in spots. Sometimes I organize walks with some friends to attack! I do not do collaborations only sometimes I do them with close friends!

What's the most important, quantity or quality?
I think the amount! I am a person who makes too many stickers but also try to put the greatest struggle is in them.
Can you share us your opinion about sticker art?
I think today the art of the stickers is booming worldwide, as there are many artists. I think every one of them tries to convey a message in the street with his art in his own way!
