Kami sempat berkorespondensi dengan agen
intelijen kami yaitu Jean Marc sekitar akhir tahun lalu untuk mendapatkan
laporan mengenai event Montreal Slaps di
Kanada. Namun , apa daya, ditengah kesibukannya, ia belum mampu melaporkan
kepada kami. Setelah penantian panjang, cerita itu akhirnya tiba dengan selamat
ke meja redaksi kami. Mau tahu seperti apa? Simak!
Dear Tiger
;)
I am doing fantastic. My partner whom with I did organize the first Mtl
Slaps just came back from working on the boats for more than year and we are
already planning some new projects! A third exhibition for this fall is on the
table + different appearance over the summer in some festivals.
As for the
sticker scene in Montréal, now that we have made an exhibition for a second
year in a row, we can firmly state that the sticker culture is doing well and
is expanding which I found is a great news. We had more people coming over to
last year edition, it was simply a blast. We received a good press from it and
a lot of people talked about it, so we think that our goal was achieved. Some
collabs resulted as well of the meeting of artists during the event.
Doing this
show is something that bring people together and I strongly believe that it is
the core of this project. Make people connect around the world around art. I
believe that this kind of connection is something to should be celebrated. And
they’re is so much to be shown. The people that participate ARE the exhibition,
we only make it happen.
We'll keep
you posted on our projects and will be happy to know more about yours!
Terima kasih kepada Jean Marc atas cerita
singkatnya. Kami bersyukur akhirnya cerita ini datang. Maklum, penantian
gambar tempel. Salam!
